Any Good Budgeting Info?

I have bought, borrowed, etc. numerous books on budgeting, but I'm finding that a lot don't have practical things that the everyday non-fancy family needs to budget for.
Does any know of a template or website, that has some really good information? I've tried to create my own, but always seem to leave things off.
Also, is there some place to get an "average" of what other families with the same # of people and income spend? I know that everybody differs, but I just would like to see what the average family of 6 spends on things such as groceries, enteratinment, etc.
Our fourth child will be here in December and I'm really hoping to get a budget straightened out before he/she gets here!
Thanks a bunch!

Just to add, we own our vehicles (no payments), we don't own credit cards, and I do buy non-brand and shop at Aldi's. Do coupons really make a big difference if you buy off brand anyway? Haven't ever really used coupons much since I already bought the cheap stuff, ......

Here's a good site that you can download budget worksheets.

Also, to help with spending and saving, check out this savings list.

Have you checked Ric Edelman's books "The Truth About Money?" He has several others but I believe that his way to help create a budget is there. Check into them from your local library.
Make the first item on your budget your first fruits of ten percent to the Lord. He will make the remaining ninety percent go farther than the hundred percent ever would or could have.

"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings." -- The Lord God Himself in Malachi 3:8

dave ramsey's book "total money makeover" is great and has lots of worksheets for budgeting and prioritizing debt and all kinds of other stuff. i love it! (i'm not quite debt free, but close!)

i think most figures are based on a percentage of your income, not the number in your family as incomes vary so much. obviously a family with a 150,000 income will budget more for things than a family of the same size earning 45,000
You need Microsoft Excel for this ALL-INCLUSIVE BUDGET but it is really good.

Good luck.
