Can you deposit cash or checks to an online bank? |
I am thinking of opening an online bank account, but I don't know how I would be able to deposit cash. Are there any internet banks that allow such a transaction? With HSBC (a very good company: http://www.hsbcdirect.com), you can make your initial deposit by mailing a check or money order: http://www.hsbcdirect.com/1/2/1/default/... You can extract money using an ATM (or debit card). Since there are limitations on how many ELECTRONIC withdrawals you can make per month (6), you may want to open a checking account and link them together.
