Hi. Are there any online savings accounts I can set-up using my visa debit card? Not using your debit card. However, online savings accounts like ING Direct can directly transfer the money from your checking account no matter what bank you use. If you really want to use your visa debit card to save money, you can buy bonds with it from the government from savingsbond.org. Not with a visa debit card. However, with most online savings account, you link your checking account (from almost any bank) with the online savings bank and you can transfer money electronically back and forth. Some High Yield Savings accounts have free ATM, so you can withdraw money directly from them.
