Why They Take My Money?? |
I am so cross I just went to get some lunch and my card was declined yet again! I hate NatWest! and I am going to move to HSBC or Abby! I am so cross at the begining of the week i had 拢 90 left in my account and then on tuesday i could not use my account at all and then today they took all my money and left me with 拢 7 and i try to call them but they say they cant help! Agg can they just do that? I would go into your branch and ask to see someone, so they can explain it all to you. They cannot take your money for no reason, so you need to understand where your money is going. Speak to one of the personal financial advisors, I have always found them polite and they will make sure you know what is happening and why. What did they take the money *for*? Chances are pretty good that they can do that. After all, they *did*. sue their ***!!! or scare them into beleiving u will. talk 2 ur lawyer or a legal minded person. best of luck. p.s, answer my question if u can. o.k? Are you saying that they have taken the money in charges? If so try claiming them back. However I advise against changing to the Abbey because they are horrendous with their charges. I got charges a total of 拢55.00 by them for going 9p overdrawn for 1 day - 拢35.00 for paying the direct debit that took me 9p overdrawn and 拢20.00 for being overdrawn! I mean how sad is that. I recommend The Cooperative Bank who are much fairer and treat people more individually. get on the website and have a look at your account online. it should tell you where the money has gone. i'm with natwest and i've never had a problem getting them to tell me on the phone where money has gone. hsbc suck as well as the abby. as do barclays. try yorkshire bank or alliance and leicester. i've got another account at the latter. they're great. All banks work the same, so not much point in changing. Bank charges have been held to be illegal, but banks are still imposing them. I have 2 accounts with Natwest, and each month they try to impose 拢38 charges on each account. Then they charge fees on charges. But all the banks are the same. Do what I do. The day after payday I now draw the lot out in cash. They cannot sit on my money, and make nothing out of me.. Why are you asking us ? Ask the bank it could be a mistake - sometimes they charge for going over drawn etc - challenge them about this and a lot of the time they will pay the money back. |
