How do postal orders work in the UK? |
I have bought something over the internet and I have to pay by Postal Order. I have obtained a Postal Order from the Post Office but do I fill in my own details or the details of the person I have purchased from. Thanks in advance. It's the same as a normal cheque. You fill in the name of the person who is going to be paid. You keep the stub as a kind of receipt. Their details. Its like a cheque, on the top line u put the persons/ buisness name and then on the back write ur name and or username and referance number of item purchased and date/ time of purchase! hope thats understandable! You put their name and you keep the stub. You ask the seller if they want it to be crossed or uncrossed because it depends on whether or not they want to pay it into a bank account. |
