What is considered a middle class income in Manhattan, New York?

I thought this was an interesting link from a survey in 2003. It's a little dated, but compares the cost of living to the American average. In 2003, the median income of a New Yorker was $60,765, or $10k more than the national median, but the cost of living was 2x as expensive as the national average, so whatever is considered middle class elsewhere x2!
