How do I find the percent change between two yearly incomes????

Need this ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

If you made $29000.00 one year and $24000.00 the next year the diffrence is $5000.00. There is a 17% diffeence in the two years. 5000 / 29000 = .172 or 17%.
What percent of X is Y. Divide Y by X.
