Do you have to pay late charges if you never received bill or phone call? |
Do you have to pay late charges if you never received bill or phone call? Yes, you do, but if you are able to communicate well to the company that you actually didn't get it, and you have never been late before, they are usually willing to waive the fees. yes ! most places will still charge you a late fee. Yes, you should know when your bills are due and take action yourself. I honestly didn't get a bill one time and when I told this to the customer service rep., she looked at my history of being an on time customer and waived the fee. However, I think they can only waive fees like that for people once every six months or year. And if you have a history of going over your credit line or making late payments, they may not want to bend the rules for you. This is why it is so important to keep a good relationship w/ your creditors by paying when you're supposed to and using your credit responcibly. So when things like never receiving the bill happens (and it does happen), you won't be held liable. Best wishes! yes...however you can contest it with a little politeness and maybe get it waved..especially if your a long time good customer/client yes, if the payment is late, you do. The company will assume that regardless of whether or not you received the bill, you should know that the bill is due the same time every month. |
