If you found a million pounds would you...? |
1. spend the money on yourself 2. give it to the police it might be someone elses money 3. share it with me be honest lol what would u really do? number 1. i need the money, id buy a small 2 bedroom flat, get a car, pay off the MOT and stuff. then id save the rest to go on hols an see my bf. :D ok yh and id take all my closest mates out for a treayt. :D Number 2. (I hope) Keeping when finding is stealing-and God knows everything we do. It would probably be stolen money so I wouldn't want to hold on to it. If I was feeling naughty I might just hold back a few thousand and tell the police I'd found 拢990,000. However the police would probably check my bank account at some stage and I could get prosecuted. Luckily in these cases the people who've lost the money usually put up a reward for those who find it. If so I'd take that and hand in the whole million to the police. I'm really gonna say the truth.. I'll give it to the police because if i spend it or keep it I'll keep feeling bad cause it's not mine.. I'll feel guilty with whatever i spent it on.. I would be shocked at first. Next I would wonder what a million pounds was doing in the US. Then I would probably report it to the authorities. If I spent it, the IRS would notice. Not dealing with them is worth whatever tax would be due. Its not like I had the money they take before finding the money. #2 - I would be too paranoid to keep it. The upside (at least in the USA) is if no one claims it within a certain period of time - its yours free and clear.... Ciao- http://www.SoGettingRich.com I'd see if I could convert them into US dollars. Then, spend it. But, I'd at least see if anyone is looking for it and if they are putting up a reward for it. If they are, I'd give it back. If not, I'm keeping it and paying off all of my family's bills, and giving us a better life. I'd get my momma the house she has always wanted, pay for my brother to go to the best basketball camp money can buy. Hell, I'd pay for him to go to Michael Jordan's house and learn! Then I'd get all the musical equipment I could, so I can perfect my craft. If there's anything left after that, I'd put some of it into a savings account, invest a little in stock, and give some to my grandmother, my aunts, uncles, and cousins, and to charity. If I can't turn the pounds into US dollars, then I'll just go to England and spend it there! |
