Can i get help with a deposit for a studio flat???UK ONLY PLEASE? |
I have found a decent flat but im on Incapacity benefit. Am i eligable for help with the deposit needed to move in? Any help appreciated and no stupid answers please :) unless your mates can lend you money... yes my mother just split from her bloke and went into the local dss office she explained she had found a place but had no cash, the labdlord had given her a writen document to prove the flat was hers if she could get the funds. she got a grant which she does not have to pay back, it was 1000 pounds to cover deposit , cost of moving and house hold things she would need. the whole claim took a litle over a week good luck regards x kitti x I assume you are not buying - if buying you can get a 100% FTB mortgage. If not - can you take out a '0% for a year deal on a credit card' - pay with the credit card for the deposit and then pay back the credit card over the year? Good luck Martin Jol is into wasting money at the moment - ask him to give you a few quid! Sorry, couldn't help it - can't you do a few things to fetch in a bit of cash - even babysitting or something, every little helps. You could get a budgeting loan from your local social security office. If you have never had one before you could get up to 拢1000. yes you can ask the d.s.s to give or lend you the money you could be in titled to a grant for moving or if not they will give you a interest free loan that you pay back out of your benefits at a low rate it os possible to get a grant but you need to get help to fill in forms from somewhere like the disability helpline service in your local area GOOD LUCK !!! been there got that t shirt |
