HELP Anybody in the Jacksonville area?? I'm about to buy in that area but not sure which to pick?

I heard duval is bad is it true? They have the cheapest houses... Im looking into Nassau County or Middleburg...I also want to know If this areas are rural or if they are big cities or well develop...I need access to activities to do with the kids. Very important that I need high rated schools... Its a KB Homes community anybody knows them?
THANK YOU

I currently live in Jacksonville but grew up in Middleburg. The schools out in Middleburg are about average. I only say this because I currently have a 14yr old daughter going to school in St. Johns county and have been comparing schools. I will tell you this though, out in Middleburg, it is very rural. It has grown a lot in the past 10 years but you do get more home/land for your money out there. If you were to try and go to downtown Jacksonville, it would be about a 45 minute drive. Crime rate is on the lower side, especially compared to Jacksonville, so you are good there. I don't know much about Nassau county though. The place to live seems to be the St. Johns area, all their school had a "C" or above on their FCAT scores, which is how the grade the school systems here. And the crime is lower in St. Johns. But I did like Middleburg growing up as a kid.
I love Jacksonville
it thinks about transport means
For rent or buy I found interesting options here. Good luck!
