Does Blogger offer a Blogspot.com address forwarding service? |
if I change my domain from http://call-center-stories.blo... to, say, virtual-observations.com, how can I set it up so any traffic from existing links and indexes that still point to the blogspot.com will be forwarded to the new domain name? Does blogger offer that service? Rich It's possible to redirect your visitors, by modifying your blogger template and adding a bit of code to redirect traffic. You want to add something like this: <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://your-new-address.com/"> in your template between the HEAD tags. However, this is not a search engine friendly method, though it will point your human visitors to the right place.
