Is it considered advertising . . .? |
if I want to promote a Decorate Your Dorm contest I am running, here on Answers? I think it may fall under the category of #4 or #9 of the guidelines "Don't". You are better off advertising in a local paper, supermarket, schools, churches or your website. You might even try restaurants. You can review the guidelines at the bottom of this page where it says community guidelines. At least that is how I interpret the rules. But a lot of people do list their websites and solicit to give prices for jobs. I don't know if that is right. Seems like it shouldn't. They say no advertising or soliciting. Your such a good do-be. Good luck. unable to understand your question, better explain it in details. Absolutely... But as the previous post stated...you must advertise it more than in one place. I have not seen it. Do the students decorate and you judge and offer a prize, or do you decorate the "worst" dorm? Post it on your website (have a separate page within your site detailing the info), post on Craigslist, etc, at your local colleges/universities, campus puds/local bars, papers, newsletter, flyer's, and anywhere students go. It doesn't have to be expensive. No matter what advertising you do, you first have to determine what business are you trying to get out of the contest/advertisement...other students to pay you to decorate their dorm, decorate a common area of the dorm/college, business from graduate students in there own home/condos...etc? Good luck! Post the details, I would love to know the outcome. ALLDECOR Home Staging Toronto, Canada If it's on a website, why not join myverdict-sitereviews. Everey message gets sent to everyone in the group. http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/myverdi... |
