What is the etiquitte for creating links from your website to another site?
One approach is to contact the other web site and ask for a reciprocal listing. You create a link to their site and they create a link to yours. This works if the sites are related someway. You can also ask if the web site would mind your creating a link to them. Asking is appropriate, because some sites may not want to see links to them on certain other sites. For example, a high end clothing store may object to having a link to it from a strip club web site.
In most cases, however, sites welcome links on other sites because it increases their visibility and brings them up more readily on search engines.
GREETINGS, if you use information from their site always credit the site, if it's just in your links that is ok but it might be cool to ask for a link on their site as well.
