I want to sell my ring. I plan to place it on ebay and in an ad. How much do i ask for it??

I had it appraised. The value of the ring is 4300. At Zales it is on sale for 2500. and bridal.com for 3000. and jcpenny for about 3000. so maybe 2500??

if you place it on ebay you start from o.99 but you can put your own threshold price at 25oo (the price below which you may decide not to sell it).
That sounds about right.
I sold an engagement ring, after my fiancee dumped me.
I paid $3500 for it at zales and only got $850 on ebay. But 850 was a lot more than the pawn shops offered. They only offered me a couple hundred.
I had good pictures of it too, and a good description. Maybe i just had bad luck though.
Be careful, there are a lot of scammers out there. I know my friend was asked to ship something to Nigeria when they won a bid for what she was selling. If you mail it to someone, insure it! Just check out the buyer really good as that is an expensive ring and you do not want to get ripped off.
