How do you get a company to pay you to have their logo on your car? |
I've heard that you can have companies pay you to advertise their services on your car. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? First, you will find companies on the web selling directories of advertisers who have car wrapping programs. These are a rip-off. You never need to pay for this information and it will do you little good. Wait lists for these programs are typically up to 3 years long and unless you meet the requirements for location and driving habits, you're chances of being selected are quite small. The way to get involved is to find the companies that provide the actual service of ad-wrapping. Advertisers go to these companies when they want to advertise in this manner, and the ad-wrapping companies maintain lists of drivers willing to participate. They will match drivers with the advertiser's requirements. Applying to be a driver should always be free -- if you're ever asked to pay a fee, it's a scam. Here's a good resource to start with to learn about "paid-to-drive" programs: http://www.paidtodriveautowrap.com/requi... They have links to several articles in the left column. Here's a couple of other links that may be helpful: http://advertising.about.com/od/carrelat... http://advertising.about.com/od/askapryl... Finally, I think you're best chance of success is to find a local vehicle wrapping service and get in touch with them. Find out out how much their services cost for various sizes of ads. Then go out and make proposals to local businesses, particulary those in the areas that you do most of your driving in. Another option, instead of wrapping, is magnetic signs ( http://www.google.com/search?q=magnetic+... ). Such signs can be made for $30-100. Again, make proposals to local businesses. try typing in car logo's.....there is a web site that deals with just what you want to do.....good luck Maybe you could try emailing or contacting the company, formally asking them if they would pay you. I have also wanted to know the answer to this question! |
