Does the SEO algorithm crawl/search embedded codes? |
For example: HTML, Flash or anything else in that nature. 1) "The SEO algorithm"? There isn't a single algorithm. Each search engine operates entirely differently. 2) "Embedded Codes" = You might read a book, we're not talking about secret encrypted codes of mystery - it's "code" and still much better applied to actual computer programming than web design. For example, html though it's a "language" is obviously looked at by a spider/crawler - or else it wouldn't be able to seek out links and use comments and whatnot. Flash is not a "code" nor a "language". It is used in the form of a compiled binary file - there isn't any way for a machine to 'understand' flash objects yet. Though they're probably working on something... To be able to answer 'or anything else' would really require specifics or for you to comprehend the differences in the technologies involved there isn't any simple rule or guide. Source(s): www.2Advanced.com SE algorithm just executes and finds best websites from the database. Crawl/spider is another software which independently takes photographs of websites and stores in database. regards http://www.praveenkodur.com/blog/2007/07... I would interpret your questions into the following answers : - HTML. If it's an embedded codes (e.g include files for javascript files, perl, etc), the answer is No. Other normal HTML is getting crawled. - Flash There's no way of the crawler to look up the flash. That's why if you're doing a good SEO, you don't even look at Flash components. Keep in mind that SEO mostly relies on text/content and good linking strategies. http://ngadutrafik2007.pakarseo.com/sear... |
