Who do I contact too hang a banner from an overpass over the freeway for a non profit event? |
I work with a non profit event called the Rah Cha Cha Ruckus which is an off season FIRST Robotics competition. We're trying to find ways to get the word out for the event and I notices numerous banners hanging over the freeway advertising other events and I was wondering who do you contact for permission to do such a thing? I would start with calling your state's Dept of Transportation. Contact the local civic body if it is within the limits of a city or a town or a village or else contact the body which maintains the roads or builds them. typically it is illegal to do so, period. oh and Very costly to do so if permitted, with lots of legal paper work. find an other idea. read Guerrilla marketing. biz owner |
