how do you get a record deal, from the big labels like universal ot atlantic, etc
Send your best 2-3 songs on a demo (CD) . Include a bio - black and white pic and list of performances if you have it. Send to A&R Dept at the labels that carry your type of music. Try to get the name of the A&R person if you can. Also, try to get local radio airplay by DJ's in your community of your hottest single. Just push 1 song with DJ's until it gets heat (airplay). Be sure to contact DJ's at local colleges and universities too. |
