Why "stickiness" is a better metric than "number of hits"? stickiness focuses on what you make of the web visitors you get. let us say you get a 100 visitors per day. do these 100 visitors find what they were looking for? if they don't, getting 1000 visitors, per day, would be the same Source(s): http://cmsbuffet.com/quality-traffic.php... Stickiness indicates that the people who visit stay longer-they are seriously interested in your site if the hang around! Hits just means they found it and moved on! Hits are indicator of traffic(Which is good), but stickiness is an indicator that your site has good content, your visitors like your site! |
