Adsense / Amazon / CJ / etc, all on one site? |
Would that work ok to increase site revenue? The more diversified your income sources, the better. Using several advertising types and programs on one site is ok -- as long as they don't violate each other's terms and conditions (e.g. Adsense and Amazon's ContextLink product) We use all the above -- and more. Having more than one income source helps you because: - They add to your bottomline; and when one program slackens, another may increase so every single income helps. - If something happens and you get kicked out of one program or one program closes, you still have other income sources - Some types of content fit one ad source better than the other and some pages convert better for different types of advertising Using various ad programs is simply a way to maximize the revenue potential of your site. However, you need to balance between content and ads, making sure that your site does not look like it is just one big advertising billboard with no content (though be prepared to receive complaints as you can never please everybody, no matter how tasteful and unobstrusive your ad placement is) I think it really depends on the type of site you have. I make decent money with adsense and cj, but amazon for my sites suck. If you have a site that reviews products (books / movies) then amazon's might work well. http://www.richkahmer.com Adloger.org is your gateway to the best sites on the Internet for adsense!
