How can I market my blog? |
I've started a blog sometime back and I'm needing some good free resources to market it. I'm basically just in need of about 500,000 visitors daily. Many make the mistake of believing that once they create a blog, people will immediately flock to it. There are millions out there so why would they visit your blog? Here are some ways you can promote your blog 1. Create great content 鈥?everything starts with great content. That's a lot of visitors daily! You said you started this blog sometime back so how old exactly is your blog? What kind of traffic are you getting on it now? Who is the target audience of your blog? Meaning who would benefit the most from the content on your blog? Is your blog optimized for the search engines? In other words if someone typed in keywords relating to your blog would your blog show up in the search engine results? My blog appears on page 1 of google's search engine results when the following terms are typed into google's search engine: adsense consultant adsense consulting Those are EXACTLY the two most sought after search terms that I would want my blog to appear on And basically that is the same thing that YOU have to do if you want to optimize your blog for the search engines because a good deal of traffic to one's site comes from the search engines. Like I said before my blog shows up on page one of google's search engine results when certain keywords are used - I was able to accomplish THAT by constantly updating the content on my blog. I didn't add my blog to the search engines (which is something you could do manually and for no cost BUT it may take as much as a few months for those search engines to get to your blog).
