What is the best online qualification for SEO that will give the edge in the job market ? Dear suren, I am SEO/SEM professional and working with this field since last 2 years. my experience says that it is batter to learn SEO your salves coz there is not any standard format of SEO as search engine algorithm get change frequently and there is not any proof of it. So my advise is to join some forums like http://forums.digitalpoint.com and start learning with expert. as u asked about SEO school than i have one great resource which provide certification online here is link http://www.searchenginecollege.com/... one of my friend had join this institute but every thing was known to me due to forums and my reading. so my advise is not to join any class or college just do it your salves and make one great portfolio of sites. let me know if u need any help all the best Sites that you are responsible for that rank well for competitive search terms are without a doubt the best "proof" that you are a qualified candidate. Put together a portfolio and include websites and search results. There's not a lot of standards out there now - SEMPO is one organization, and they offer certificates in both basic and advanced SEO.
