Can anyone tell me how E-bay works, I'm new at it.? |
I want to know how the process goes.. like if i purchased something do i meet them in person? You bid on the Ebay site. If you don't already have a PayPal account, get one. Most sellers will only take PayPal for payment. When you win the bid, you pay for the item and then it is sent to you. After you receive it, you answer in Feedback how your experience was with the seller. The seller fills out Feedback to tell others what you were like in the buying experience. It works great. And yes, I have met somebody in person to buy an item. If you do that be sure to meet them in the bank or post office because you don't know them. No. You will rarely, if ever, meet someone in person. However, some auctions do offer "local pickup", but again it is rare. 99.9% of all auctions will end in the seller mailing the buyer the item won.
