How Can I Increase Traffic To My Blog? |

The best way to get your site noticed is to include keywords in your meta-tags for search engines to pick up on. Many search engines employ meta-crawlers in addition to their advanced search algorithms to find websites, and in order for these meta-crawlers to pick up your site, you need to define your meta tags better. As I see in your source code, the only meta tag you include is "blogger". This is a very broad search term and because of the low traffic your site is currently receiving, probably won't place you before thousands of listings back in the search results. I would use the meta tags more effectively to increase traffic by really pin-pointing in on the topics that you cover in your blog. For example include "Jewish Pride", the title as one of your meta-tags. If you are not the person that codes the site however, it would be difficult for you to do anything about this though, short of paying a search engine to list your blog as a featured result. You can make use of free classifieds sites such as www.freewebs.com to promote your website at no cost. You can also try submitting your blog to blog directories. Think of your target readers and identify in what part of the cyberspace they usually hang out. Visit these sites and promote your own blog there. You might want to try visiting online forums from time to time and post a few comments there. Make sure that you include links to your blog on your signature. Try visiting other people's blogs and comment on their posts. And ask them to drop by your blog and check what they can say about what you've written there. There might be tens or hundreds of bloggers out there that share the same interests as you have. In your blog page, include a very visible link that will allow people to subscribe to your site's RSS feeds. This way you can gain a bandwagon of loyal readers. I would invest some of your time in learning the skills that would give you the success you want. I would suggest an internet marketing guide (maybe) from planet ocean and possibly (my favourite option) a 1-on-1 mentoring program. A mentor would guide you step by step to help you building/increasing your business online. A mentor would teach what needs to be done, send you assignments, correct them and show you what you have done right and what needs work. Not a classroom situation but a 1-on-1 relationship.
