I need help regarding SEO.? |
I have had 306,000 product pages indexed in Google till July '07. From August, this month, Google started dropping our pages and the process is still continue. Currently we are left with 193,000 pages only. Although, we have approx. 600,000 products in our database. Its a Price Comparison Website and the product Feeds are refreshed by their respective vendors very frequently. Can anyone shed some light what's the reason behind it and what should I do in current scenario. Last year there was a danger that affiliate niche price comparison sites using merchant data feeds would dominate the Google SERPs for product searches. Not a good thing from the searchers point of view. These sites will often contain the the same data on any particular product and this year Google seems to have addressed the problem by weeding out weak affiliate sites. The only thing you can do is seek professional help from one of the top ten SEO companies. Hi, As u told there are 600000 product, it must be a dynamic site. it would be helpful if u had post url. Just do the following - create sitemap.xml file and submit to Google site map. - Just try to make some different meta tags for mail products pages. i know that it will be difficult for you as site is dynamic and there are 6lack product. but u can generate meta dynamically for category wise pages. first try above things and let me know if any improvement is there.. i had tried to give best reply as per my knowledge.
