How to advertise my website via email without being accused of spam? Send your e-mails only to your personal friends and to those who have voluntarily accepted to receive your newsletters. Spam is basically advertisements that show up in my in-box without my having asked for them... so unless you can figure out a way to get the people to request them, they are pretty much spam. you just spammed now by posting your website.. why dont you buy the customers through a list company who sells names and addresses for so and so per name. Make sure you pay for the ones that have emails only. If it is unsolicited email, then it is Spam. I'd recommend finding partners, that will send out an introduction for you. Like computer dealers, people with blogs, etc.. Then have a method on your website to collect email addresses, to create a subscription list, and send these people great information on a regular basis. (Along with promoting your services.)
