HOW does Google's - AdSense work ? |
I want to make some money out of the internet, i have registered my self for the google blogger and adsence,i received their mail saying " Now that you're an approved AdSense publisher, you can start placing relevant ads on your site in minutes and make money whenever your visitors click on those ads" My Question is " should I myself put ad's on the site, How do i collect money from the ad's, i dont understand, i thought Google themselves put the ad's there and later pay me. NO -- the process is: - you create a blog or website - then you apply to Adsense - if you get approved then you put the Javascript code of Adsense on your site that you can get when you log into your Adsense account - Google will not put the code on your site -- YOU do it. But through that code, Google will show the relevant ads - Every time the ads are clicked on you get paid. Or in the case of cost per impression ads then you get paid everytime the ad is seen Google will show the ads on your site -- but you have to put the ADSENSE CODE on your site to enable the ads to be shown. Also go through te Adsense Help Center as it answers all your questions from implementation to payment https://www.google.com/adsense/support/... You have to physically insert the ads in blogger. When you are in the layout section, you have to click add page element (where ever you want the ads to appear) choose adsense, then add to blog. You are paid on the ads if people click on them. You cannot click on them yourself. Payments are made monthly, but only if you have $100 in your account. If you dont, it will roll over to the next month. You can choose to be mailed a check or have your payment sent to paypal. Edit: The above post is correct, however its easier to setup adsense using blogger since its a google service. The above instructions are for a blog that is not hosted on blogger. Follow my above instructions, I have both blogger and adsense, so I know it works. Get Code after LOG IN to google Adsense and then place this code to any location in your website. Now that you have been approved for adsense you sign in and start going through the process of picking your ad layout - things like what size and color ad that you want. Once you have done that then you can login and check your account to see how much money you have made so far. As others have said you have to accumulate at least $100 before you will get sent a payment. You can choose to get paid by regular check or by bank transfer.
