SEO help needed.? |
I owe a price comparison engine - www.smarterdeals.com. The website was doing great until Google started dropping our product pages. In the month of July 2007, we had approx. 306,000 pages in Google which have come to 193,000 now. We never did any unfair practice with our listing. Sitemaps are already well in place. Can anyone help me finding the SEO's loop-holes so that I could get the error fixed and get all my pages indexed in Google again. Please help. loop holes will get you banned! One thing i tried on my page was rearranging all the content. and have some RSS SITE FEEDS from other major sites that have to do with your info. maybe computer magazines etc..that will keep fresh content on your page you need a professional SEO analysis. answers here would not give you the whole picture. http://cmsbuffet.com/is-my-site-indexed-... I agree you need a professional consultancy. It would be difficult to decipher why your pages had dropped out of the index without knowing the full story before and after the change. It might not be anything you have done recently, google may have just picked up on something you had been doing for a while. It could be a duplicate content issue as google has been changing their supplementary index results recently. Best bet is to get a professional involved on a consultancy basis. www.latitudegroup.com www.latitudewhite.com Google has said they don't want "search results within their search results." As you operate what is essentially a search engine (for product prices), this could be part of the problem. However, to be sure, are you also tracking the # of pages that your competitors (big and small) have indexed? First thing you need to figure out is if this is just affecting you or if others are affected, too. Be sure to compare with similar competitors. There are some shopping/comparison engines that have been around a long time and built up a lot of trust over the years. This issue may not affect them the same as you. Beyond that, yes, a professional consultant should be engaged. And don't look for loopholes. Look for real answers and legitimate solutions.
