Is it not necessary to include room rental in tax return?


Is it true, bbsmokoloko, that it's not necesasry to include the room rental if i'm staying in it? Could you elaborate and may I know why? As gjkishere says "if it's making money, it's taxable.

anything that puts money into your bank must be declared... otherwise, you risk getting fined for tax evasion...
