Where is the best plave to sell CDs and DVDs? |
i was going to sell them on Ebay but once you take into account the cost of posting on there and the money paypal take i would only make about 10p per CD so not really worth it unless selling something a little more valuable. Looking at putting them on Amazon instead which you will seem to get more money on, does anyone else know of any other good sites i could sell DVDs and CDs on? have you checked to see if you have any unusual/limited edition ones that may be worth a bit of money? Have you considered selling them in groups of say 5s or 10s to try and get more money for them. Consider an ad in the classified section of a local paper (these are normally free), this way people will collect from you and you avoid the additional expense of posting them. The bottom line is though that CDs and DVDs really are "ten a penny" these days so I doubt that you'll make a fortune with them whichever method you choose. Have you got a list of your stock...type up a word.doc with all your titles - postage is under 50p and blanks are very cheap. you cant be doing it right if your only making 10p a disc ! re-think your strategy.. Blockbusters will buy your dvd You could also try Craigslist. Lots of stuff sold there, and its free |
