I am thinking of a name for my clothing line.my name is nike pearse and was thinkin of what i could use.? |
what the name of my clothing line to contain my real name or even is someone could help me with some new...10x a lot. Well think of all the famous Fashion Designers who have there own name for there cothing lines. You could try searching some stuff for it or you can just do N Pearse fashion designis. Because i cant think of anything How about- Pearse..lol, it sounds nice enough. obviously you can't use the name "Nike" because of shoe company...you would have a ton of legal issues. Until your Name and reputation means something to the consumer ( and not an association to another company)...using your name means nothing. Who cares what your name is...it's only "special" to you at this point. Later once you have a reputation ( which takes a decade or more) you have a great clothing line THEN your name will matter. So Try to find a name that is catchy that you think describes your clothing style...you didn't say what your clothing demographic was so I can't guess. Demographic is the key- that means the description of the type of person that would BUY your clothing. In other words a 45 year old woman living in the suburbs isn't likely to buy a super mini- mini "apple Bottom"skirt. Find your Audience ,your customer base, the type of person who woould buy and wear your clothing ... then make a decision on a name that will attract them to your clothes... your name "Nike Pearse" - means Nothing to them and doesn't describe the "type" of clothing. A good example is a name like "LOTUS Flower" - clothing store....what comes to mind? It isn't Goth wear thats for sure....see what I mean... Good Luck |
