It depends on what state you are in, what business you want to open, what your qualifications are and if you meet any special criteria for grant money. In most cases, there is very little, if any, "free money" for someone who wants to start a profit-making business. However, there are lots of business planning resources out there (SCORE, for one) and small business administration loans. Learn how to write a good business plan, first, and then look into "small-business grants" for your state in a search engine. Your aunt's business is probably funded by something like Medicaid for a daycare for disabled adults who don't have financial resources to pay for private nursing care.Medical or Home Health Aide agency!!
