Domain Name Advice Needed? |
I have a small web design business and the last two clients that I created a site for had business names that were inc (incorporated) and they choose not to add the inc to their domain name. Now I have one that really does not know which way to go. His business name is BRS Landscaping Inc should we go with www.grslandscaping.com or www.grslandscapinginc.com Thanks You have to add the 'inc' to the domain name if, it plays a part in their business promotion. Otherwise for easier rememberance 'grslandscaping.com' would be better. It all depends on the client. Registering an additional domain name will cost you less than $10 extra per year at most registrars, and any good hosting companies will allow you to have both domains pointing to the same website. There are lots of landscaping businesses that are not incorporated, and if they want to make a big deal of that, add it. Better yet, get both and point the other to the first, that way they are covered. if using a website as a biz tools or asset then they should understand the important of search engines traffic. domain name and web page title is very important to the search engines cause it let the search engines know what that site is all about. and there are others stuff need to take a look at. they are called seo(search engine optimization). so learn that then you can give good advise to your client. and if do make an impact then you could gain more client. if you need more info on seo you can check my profile. grslandscaping.com is better, also make sure you register it at http://www.LocoDomains.com they have the best deals I would leave off the inc., simply because it's easier to remember. |
