Guilty Salesman?

I work at a bicycle shop, as a salesman. I've never tried to rip off a customer, and i was a customer here because i thought it was the best shop, then started working later. Bet for some reason, after every sale, i feel guilty, and i can't figure out why, has anything like this happened to anyone else? anyone have an idea why might feel guilty, thanks

I've seen it before in my business and I have found that it often happens with an employee who doesn't really believe in the product they are selling.

For example, you may feel great about selling a customer an entry level bike because it suits their needs and is good value for money, but when they start looking at a higher end model your first thought is that they are going to spend allot of money on a bike with features and performance which they will likely never use, and subsequently you feel they are making a mistake and you are facilitating it.

I would recommend learning a bit more about the products you are selling and why the more expensive models cost more possibly?
