Can anyone help me with filing of resumes? |
I am a recruitment consultant and I received lots of resumes, I am trying to find the best way to file and keep tarck of all the incoming resumes. Anyone out there can help? Save them in a folder marked, Resume's but make a folder for Light Industrial - Clerical - Administrative - I.T., etc. As they become 6 months old discard them. Good Luck!!! Source(s): http://www.jobbankusa.com/resumewrite/re... I may be biased, but online recruiting is the way to go. I work at Monster.com, and we offer tons of tools to organize your inbound resumes and make your job easier. You can organize by job, resume type, however you wish. And you can even organize the resumes within their folders too to make it even easier to use. Not to mention help with OFCCP and EEO/AA reporting. We can even add the resumes you already have to your online database. http://info.monster.com scan them in and throw away the hard copy. save them and cross reference them according to geographic location, skills, desired position, etc. I agree with sunshine's response. However, as a recruitment consultant, you are legally obligated to maintain these electronic files for a period of up to seven years in order to avoid any applicants who allege that they were treated unfairly by you or your referral employers. Good luck! |
