Question on this? |
I am thinking of starting my own site, basically shooting models for pictures, videos, etc. I have never done this before and am just starting out. I am willing to pay $500-$1,000 per shoot.. is this good or should I pay more since Im new at this? Depending on what kind of website it is, I think it's a fair price. You won't get the top models, but it's decent pay. Check out the local modeling agencies and see what the going rates are for different types of models and sessions. Partly it will depend on the type of modeling session and how long it will be. For instance, the rate for something that will take an hour of the model's time in your studio will be different than several hours that you are doing on location in a park, for instance. And remember, there are not only the models, but depending on what you are doing you might need a hairdresser or makeup person too. Think about wardrobe, are you going to ask the models to bring their own? Good luck. |
