Tell me what you think this, I am starting up a business, would like your opinions? Would you be interested? |
I am asking from a sales and marketing level. Do I grab your attention or is it too simple? If you saw this would you be interested. I am not advertising on here, I am posting where I live. Thanks. 鈥淢iss. Cindi鈥檚 errand services鈥?br /> Never have time for yourself? Well, here is the answer! Consider those long lines at the grocery store are over. The traffic jams at the mall during a 鈥渕adness sale鈥?forgotten. How about the waiting at the post office, registry or bank? Call it a miracle! Call it a blessing! Or just say Thank you! I鈥檓 a freelance personal assistant, professionally and personally helping you, the client with your daily errands. Here鈥檚 what I do for you. Shopping: Grocery, Department store, Book store, Pharmacy. Dry cleaning: Pick up/drop off Rental place: Pick up/drop off Tuxedo, gown or item rented. Post office: Stamps, shipping, pick up mail/package, shipping material Bank: deposits only Registry: as long as it鈥檚 nothing you have to be in person to do. Make a payment: Utilities, cable, car, insurance, etc. City Hall/Town hall: As long as it鈥檚 nothing you have to be in person to do. Library: Pick ups/drop offs School (College/Daycare) (Dropping off information, picking up information, etc.) OK, all and all it isn't bad but I would change a few things. First, I would delete the miracle and blessing, some might find it offensive. Re the list of what you do, I might keep it a little more simple so that you do not limit what people are willing to ask you to do. Example: Shopping (let them ask if you will do a type of shopping. You already stated above grocery shopping) Dry cleaning Rental pickup and returns Post office runs Bank runs (instead of saying deposits only, would you be willing to pickup deposit slips, coin rolls, etc. Beware of only) Make your bill payments Government agency runs Library And many other errands, feel free to ask! you shouldn't expect to get paid not too much in the beginning but as you gain experience you can be paid more.. Post this ad on craigslist too in your area of course.. and make sure to have great references . me I could always use a Sexretary... Great idea. I agree with the first answer. If I was a person who was too busy to have time to do all the stuff I had to do, I would consider using a service such as yours. I wish you all the best! Actually, I did exactly this sort of thing for awhile. I'll make a suggestion for an additional service you might want to consider adding. Charge by the hour to wait for utility hookups. This dovetails nicely with people who are moving, but that's certainly not the only group who would be interested. And naturally the good folks at the phone, cable, etc. can't make a real appt. -- they want to give you a four hour window (during which they rarely make it.) So, consider how many people would find it worthwhile to pay someone to handle that vs. taking time off from their jobs to work it out. It could be a very lucrative gig all on it's own. Good luck! I would work out a better name; " Miss Cindi's errand services" is a little long. Otherwise, go for it. Plenty of people hire personal assistants. Just don't expect to get paid generously at first. |
