When you list an item on ebay do you pay (ebay listing fee) before or after the item sells? |
thanks in advance Hi, Ebay cannot collect fees until the close of the auction. However, by contract of terms with ebay, when you list an item for sale, they tell you what the listing fee will be and will collect the fee upon the auction close, whether or not the item sells. Hope that helps. You pay LISTING FEES as soon as you list the item -- whether it sells or not You also pay fees if you add some listing enhancements to your item such as gallery, bold, featured, highlighted, etc If the item sells you pay FINAL VALUE FEES the amount of which depends on how much is the final sale of your item. If the item does not sell, then you don't pay this fee Here's the list of all eBay fees http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.htm... When eBay will collect the money from you depends on how you have set up your seller account and how you will pay eBay (whether by sending them a check, via Paypal or via credit card) Read "How Do I Pay My eBay Fees" http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/quest... |
