I am starting my own buissiness of teaching people how to crochet hair ties and winter hats. I will be doing at the Yoga and meditation center, renting space for $5 per hour. And Albany Parks And Recreation Will be doing the advertizing for me in there activities guide for 20% of my prophets. The class will be $30 plus $7 for materials. I will be teaching 5 - 7 students at a time for three hours. I'm kind of nervous because I've never taught more than one person at a time before. I use to teach other inmates how to do this. Does anyone have experience with parks and recreation? Will people be willing to pay that much for advance crocheting? My city isn't really big. population 30 to 50 thousand people. Do you think I'll have a chance of getting very many people who are interested? And I think I might be competing with other crochet/knitting teachers in my area who are in the rec guide too.
