For those of you who started a business.....? |
When you come up with a product in mind and realize you know nothing about that field. how would you find help and develop it? for example: if i want to create light bulb before it exist, and i know nothing about electric, how can i make it happen? Read books by people who started companies. I am a prepaid legal associate and our founders book is a good one. It is called the Prepaid Lgeal Story. Also, check out biographies of others who started in a field or industry where there was nothing. You will have to find the Thomas Edison of whatever field you are looking to cling to. You do what Henry Ford did when he wanted to mass produce automobiles. He knew nothing about how to go about it....He went out and found people that did know how, and cut them in the deal.... The best way to think about this is to use a quote from T. Edison: "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work..." Most inventions are the result of people trying to find an easier way to do their job or an activity that they really like. T. Edison didn't start out looking to invent the light bulb, it came years after he invented the phonograph. He invented the telegraph to try and communicate with a dead relative. Find out what you like to do and see if you can do it differently. |
