Up to 1 Lakh Nil
1 to 1.5 Lakhs 10%
1.5 to 2.5 Lakhs 20%
2.5 to 10 Lakhs 30%
Above 10 Lakhs 33%
Education Cess 2% on all
Exemption on specific Investments upto Rs. 1 Lakh .
if we pay our taxes regularly then india would become wealthy and there would be no tax for 2006-2007
