Taxation of foreign branch of a company, how do i?

A foreign branch of a US corporation is taxable by the IRS, just as a division of the US corporation is. If the branch's operations are taxable in the foreign country, then the corporation can take a "foreign tax credit" for any such taxes paid when filing with the IRS. Figuring out the income and deductions related to the branch can be complex, as are the FTC rules. Source(s): Try www.irs.gov
