Do you CHEAT in you TAX FORMS? |
Yeah, c'mon. Tell us your dark little secrets (or innocent little white lies). We try our dardnest to hide whatever we can -- legally - from the tax man (e.g. maximize Self Employment IRA contribution, buy new computers every year, spend whatever we can on the business, buy SUV and get Section 179 deduction, etc). I change my social security number every year. I also change my name to go along with it. I move every 3 or 4 months. I don't get paid by check, I only accept cash. I make up everything on my tax forms, and I get back at least $5.00 a year!!! They'll never catch me!!! It's so worth it!! No No. It's not worth it. Do not let anyone lie to you. Eventually you would be audited. There are however, legal ways to "cheat". Just find a good accountant or tax preparer and get them to give you some information on what to do throughout the year to have more write-offs in the end. If you can itemize on your deductions, it usually helps also. Changing social security numbers is illegal. I don't advise that you do that either. No, I would NEVER CHEAT on my Tax Forms. No dude I dont!! Nope! I used to work in payroll, and I've seen what the government leaves you with if they have to levy your taxes. Ouch. |
