What's tax return? |
I hear it a lot in american films, I never get it. When you work you get a paycheck and the Government takes out money from that check each week for taxes -at the begining of the new year you get your tax forms from your checks/income from the previous year then you go and file them to the IRS sometimes you get a Tax return (money sometimes alot sometimes a little) and sometimes you end up owing money back- trust me I dont understand it sometimes myself !!! LOL!!! One gigantic headache. look it up on yahoo search...just about 1 zillion places...and dont be lazy! In the the us we have to file a form each year that tells us and the government how much tax we have to pay. that is the tax return Simply put, it's a form we have to turn into the federal government every year stating how much money we make, and how much money we have given to the government in taxes Every year you have to report to the government how much money you make and how much money you've given to the government. Depending on this, you may have to give more money to the government or you may get money back from the government. This whole process is known as filing your tax return. Somthing you get back from the goverment i think. I dont really get it either. |
