What are the shiiping options from the US to the EU? |
actually I am looking for the minimize the risk for a shippment going through customs in the destination country. Thank you. What ever you need to sent, wrap it your self, when declaring what's inside choose something not expensive and declare the $ value under $30. And for Gods sake X the Gift Box on the customs declare form. Send it by US mail. use postal office. don't use express like UPS or DHL. they force you to pay taxes as they are required to report to the customs. postal office don't. You have the U.S. Postal Service, or you can use UPS, or Federal Express, which have international service. Declare the parcel as a gift with a value below USD 100 (I do not know the exact limits, probably different according to the country of destination) and send it to a private address. In all other cases, parcels will pass customs compulsory. Then you better carefully consider which information on the parcel would be appropriate - or ask an international shipping agency if the value is substantial. |
