What is the benefit of income tax? |
benefit of the income tax and it's advantage to us Taxes are a very important part of our democracy and help to ensure our way of life. But the current tax system is outdated. There are no specific benefits to how tax is currently collected. It is an antiquated process that uses too many resources to achieve. Several states do not have income tax, they have sales tax, otherwise known as a consumptions tax. This could be adopted nationally (or some variant of it). See what you think. its is one main source of income for government u too pay tax it will be used for us only let's see: defense, education, medical research, healthcare, veterans benefits, highways, airport security, border patrols, the list is endless. Just ask those congresspeople! Many of the services we have come to take for granted like public education, police and fire protection all stems from the money we pay to our state income tax. Federal income tax has less visible and close to home advantages but all these taxes we pay come back to us in services performed by people who will help us in case of emergency. Without the ability to tax, state governments and the federal government would not be able to function properly and we would have no money to pay our teachers, our police officers, our public servants. So income tax benefits those who pay (and even those who don't, like taxpayers children) through education and police/fire protection. someone with two political science degrees. I keeps us from having to defend our country by ourselves income tax pays for military, interstate highways, the presidents pay checks. etc.... Well the Government requires lot of cash to meet its expenditure, expenditure for providing good sanitation, upliftment of the poor, to provide basic education for the poor, national security, etc. By collecting taxes from the rich they would in turn use those taxes for the reasons stated above. I will call the distribution of wealth among the people. |
