As a South African that's leaving UK aftr 2years of work here, what % of tax that I have paid can i get back? Normally you can get back only what you paid in the current tax year, which always begins on 5th April. The Tax office will give you a statement of the amount due to you. Contact the Inland revenue and ask them, you probably wont be entitled to anything though its not a god given right, only if you have paid well over the odds for emergency tax you get rebates for certain periods not percentages. knowing this greedy government you will get nowt back. 0.0000000000000000000000000% |
