Is there a way to calculate the Net (after tax) if all I have is the Gross (before tax) numbers?

Is there a way to calculate the Net (after tax) if all I have is the Gross (before tax) numbers?

I believe all that you require is GROSS INCOME for tax calculations. Of course, once need to know the local tax laws that need to be applied on the income to find the amount of tax.

Once your calculate your TAX, you have the NET (Gross less Tax).

But tell me, if you have Gross as well as the Tax in hand, where is the issue in calculating your Net.
Yes, but you'd need additional information - it depends on where you live and work, and if you have dependents, if you're married or head of household, what deductions you might have.... not a simple question.
