What if you come up with an Idea to make Electricity out of a magic box.? |
(Hypothetical speaking ofcourse), Who would you sell it to and for what price? What are the repercussions of such discovery on world economy. Oil, Gas, Transport, MiddleEast? Electric power companies control the power lines to homes and industries, and will buy power from others. Each power company has different requirements and prices, and each local government has different laws on the matter. There would be no effect on the world economy. People would still pay the power companies for electricity, and you would make a pittance off of it. I already have a magic box that does that. Its called a generator. Won't do much for conserving oil though. Oh oh, I know another big box that generates electricity without using any gas, coal, or oil. Its called a nuclear power plant. Wait, the screaming liberals won't let us build any more of those. I know, how about hydroelectric dams, they are more environmentally safe, right? Nope, the tree huggers are saying those are bad too because of the poor fishies. And wind farms are bad for birds and bats. Solar power? I'm sure once the technology becomes more commercially feasible they will find something wrong with that too. Here's an idea. Anyone that thinks we should not use coal, oil, gas, nuclear, hydroelectric, or wind to create electricity should be banned from using electricity generated from one of these sources. As far as the Middle East goes, if they don't have oil to fight about they will find something else to fight about. Look at Palestine, they have nothing left to fight over and they are still fighting. Does anyone else think this is a silly question? invisable magic electricity............ |
